Preparing Your Home to Sell Seminar

Come to this seminar to learn basic tips to help you if you are planning on selling your home.

Robert Chan & Kevin Vader from Century 21 Top Realty will discuss how to prepare your home

to sell, pricing strategies, inspections, financing/appraisals.

Identity Theft Seminar

Wednesday, August 8   6:00 PM

Experts from Harris County Constable Precinct 5 will be at the library to give a presentation on

identity theft. Come learn more about this important topic, including: 1.) How to prevent your

identity from being stolen, 2.) What to do if you are a victim of this crime, 3.) Why this is a rapidly

growing crime, 4.) Ask the experts & become educated! Free program. No registration required.

ESL Conversation

Thursday, August 9    2:00 PM

Come to the library on Thursday afternoons to improve your English speaking skills. We

will discuss several topics and enjoy conversation practice together. This ESL

Conversation class is free. No registration is required.

Savvy Stitchers

            Thursday, August 9    3:30 PM
The Savvy Stitchers is a place to share ideas for different crafts such as knitting and

crochet! Don’t miss out on the weekly fun! Make sure to bring your needles and yarn. All

ages welcome.

Social Crafters

Join our new social crafting group! Are you working on a craft or fabric arts project now?
Bring a project to the library and share your ideas with others. Or, just come to learn

more about crafts you may want to try. All are welcome!

Children’s Activities

We will be taking a break from storytimes for the remainder of this month.  Storytimes will resume on September 4th.

Lily’s Library Tales

Come to the library for a family friendly storytime with Lily, a certified therapy dog! This

program is in partnership with Tender Loving K-9s. All ages welcome.
