ATRIA CINCO RANCH to Challenge GRAZIA ITALIAN KITCHEN in Chef Showdown 2018

The Battle of the Tomato Divide: The competition will be fierce, no matter how you slice it

Who:                FRANKLIN AYALA, Director of Culinary Services at ATRIA CINCO RANCH, has challenged MATTHEW JACKSON, Chef Extraordinaire at GRAZIA ITALIAN KITCHEN, to a cooking competition as part of Atria Senior Living’s annual Chef Showdown. The Chef Showdown is a culinary competition taking place at more than 200 Atria communities across the U.S. and Canada. Atria residents, their families, the general public and media are invited to attend.

What:               FRANKLIN AYALA and MATTHEW JACKSON will go head-to-head in a cooking showdown with only one rule: All recipes must include summer’s most highly disputed ingredient, the tomato. The competition will be judged by a panel of leaders in the local community.  The competition will be judged by a panel of local celebrities, including Frank Bielec of the hit TV show “Trading Spaces” and Wayne Thompson, Constable of Precinct 3. The winner will receive the title of Top Chef and plenty of accolades from the community!
