Career Tips For Teens & Young Adults At Cinco Ranch Branch Library               

Teens and young adults, aged 16 through 24, who would like to get a jump-start into preparing to enter the workforce, are invited to attend a special 5-part series, “Career Tips & Advice for High School Students & Young Adults,” at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library this summer.

The weekly workshops will take place on Thursdays, July 12 through August 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m, in the Multipurpose Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Presented by representatives from Workforce Solutions, different topics will be discussed each week. Participants may choose to attend individual sessions or the whole series.

The schedule of workshops is as follows:

  • July 12 – “Ace the Interview”
  • July 19 – “Dress for Success”
  • July 26 – “Interview & Resumé Tips & Tricks”
  • August 2 – “How to Make a Lasting Impression”
  • August 9 – “Career Planning for the Future”
