Richmond, TX…OakBend Medical Group is pleased to its newest ob/gyn Dr. Amber Dobyne.
Originally from Birmingham, AL, Dr. Amber Dobyne graduated Cum Laude from Florida A&M University where she majored in Biology/Pre-medicine. She moved to Washington D.C. where she earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Dobyne has a strong compassion for providing care to underserved areas and is committed to delivering excellent care in women’s health. Her special interests include adolescent gynecology, high-risk pregnancy, and contraception management.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Houston Medical Forum.
When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Dobyne enjoys traveling with her husband, playing with their Maltipoo, Teddy, reading, and cooking/baking.
