Learn How To Balance A Budget And Save Money At Cinco Ranch Branch Library Program               

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present a special program on financial wellness on Saturday, June 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

This 2-part program is designed to help individuals get a better understanding of how to manage money and develop a budget. The program is presented by Leslie Corley, a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments.

During the first part of the program, “Bring Balance to Your Budget,” get tips on how to manage one’s spending habits and learn about different strategies for saving money. Learn how balancing credits and debits can affect financial wellness.

The second part of the program, “College: Getting There from Here,” will focus on college-savings plans. Get tips on establishing a college-savings goal and developing strategies for reaching that goal. Learn about the features and benefits of 529 college-savings plans.
