Teen Mandala-Art Program At Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library

Fulshear-area teens can express their creativity with a special program for Young Adults, “YA: Rockin’ Mandalas,” at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library on Monday, June 11, beginning at 3:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear.

In this Young Adult program, teens in grades 9-12 can express their creativity by painting mandalas (or anything they wish) on rocks! A “mandala” is a term often used to describe a geometric pattern representing the universe.

Materials for this program were made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library at 281-633-4675 or the library system’s Communications Office at 281-633-4734.
