KATY [May 17, 2018] – As a procedural requirement and for purposes of certification after every school board election, Katy Independent School District canvasses all final electoral results and presents a final report to the Board of Trustees. Canvassing for Katy ISD Position 6 and Position 7 took place on Tuesday, May 15 with a swearing-in ceremony set to take place on Monday, May 21 during the Katy ISD Work Study meeting.
Additionally, trustees will be electing new officers for the 2018-19 school year. These positions include: board president, vice president and secretary.
