Free Blood Pressure Screenings at Kelsey-Seybold Berthelsen Main Campus

The public is invited to celebrate Texas Check Your Blood Pressure Week by engaging in this essential health screening

WHAT:         Kelsey-Seybold Clinic encourages everyone to have their blood pressure checked this week in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy blood pressure.

One of the greatest barriers to maintaining healthy blood pressure is knowing whether or not your blood pressure is within the right range. Kelsey-Seybold will open its doors to the public on Thursday, May 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Berthelsen Main Campus location to perform blood pressure screenings. On-site nursing staff will explain results and share educational information and clinical advice.

WHY:           As a major contributor to heart disease, a leading cause of death in the United States, high blood pressure has become an alarming health concern for as many as 1 in 3 American adults who now face increased risks for chronic kidney disease, stroke, and heart attack/heart failure.

WHEN:         Thursday, May 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
