KATY [April 24, 2018] – Beginning this fall, Katy Independent School District will transition to a multi-bell schedule which will support the new district transportation model. Last night, the Katy ISD Board of Trustees announced the elementary schools that will fall under Group 1 and 2.
The 2018-19 multi-bell schedule will include four groups that will begin and dismiss at different times of the school day. These changes will alleviate the challenges the district is facing with bus driver recruitment as well as safety concerns with congested traffic in areas within Katy.
