Houston, Texas-Service Corporation International (SCI) selects one employee annually to receive the Steve Mack Award for Service Excellence. SCI is the largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services in North America and Canada and has 23,400 employees. Selection for the award started with 817 candidates, then narrowed to 135, 25 and ultimately, five candidates were selected from different categories. The winner is chosen in honor of their outstanding dedication to Service Excellence. This year, the Steve Mack Service Excellence Award was received by Sherry Davies, Managing Director of Katy Funeral Home.
