(Houston, TX) – The nation’s top flood insurance recovery firm, Weisbrod Matteis & Copley (WMC), is coming to Southeast Texas to provide free consultations to Hurricane Harvey victims through a series of town halls. Because FEMA is back to it’s old games again, the firm wants to prevent homeowners from being ripped off.
“When Hurricane Harvey ravaged Texas, so many homeowners were left with nothing,” WMC chairman Augie Matteis said. “It’s a shame, but history shows that FEMA cannot be trusted to help even the people who paid premiums on their flood insurance policies for years claim the money they deserve to rebuild their homes.”
WMC is the first firm in history to prove to a jury that a flood insurance company committed intentional fraud against the federal government after Hurricane Katrina. They currently represent more than 1,000 homeowners and business owners whose properties were damaged by Hurricane Sandy and the historic 2016 Louisiana floods.
