Katy ISD Announces Public Meeting to Discuss Federal Programs  

KATY [April 4, 2018] – Katy Independent School District continues steadfast in its mission to provide unparalleled learning experiences to all students, including those with special needs and disabilities.  The Elementary and Secondary Act (ESEA) Title I-IV, the Individuals and Disabilities Act (IDEA) Part B Special Education, High School Accelerated Instruction and the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education (CTE) are federal programs offered at Katy ISD campuses.  Public meeting discussions will focus on the programs current function as well as the proposed implementation for the upcoming school year.

What:             Public meeting to discuss federal programs offered at Katy ISD.  The public is invited to comment on these programs.  A written statement for the record must accompany all comments made.  Parent and teacher surveys have been created to gather input on these programs.
