Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch will deal out a temperature-raising Fire & Dice casino night from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, April 7.
Poker faces are not required for the fiery event, which takes place in the 55+ resort-style gated enclave at the Bonterra Clubhouse, 5403 Golden Manor Drive.
“We’re inviting everyone to let ’em roll and see just how much fun an active adult community can be,” said Rob Bamford, general manager for Cross Creek Ranch. “This will be a rare opportunity for people of all ages — well those 21 years and up — to experience the lifestyle our Bonterra residents enjoy every day.”
Signature “Fire” and “Ice” cocktails will be a highlight of the evening and can be sipped while playing a variety of casino games. Beer and wine will be available, as well. Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, Fire & Ice photo opportunities and a chance to win prizes — including a Fire Bowl and RTIC ice chest.
Visitors also will be able to mix and mingle with current Bonterra residents, meet the community’s full-time lifestyle director and explore the 10,000-square-foot clubhouse. Opened last fall, the clubhouse offers an exercise room, spa, resort pool, bocce and pickleball courts, catering kitchen and multi-purpose rooms.

Fire & Dice is one of many events planned for Houston’s largest home tour.
The April Drools Home Tour will showcase 170 model homes and nearly 500 inventory homes in Johnson Development communities across the Houston area throughout April. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
