Learn About Guardianship & Power Of Attorney At Cinco Ranch Branch Library               

Fort Bend County Libraries will present a special program, “Planning Ahead: Powers of Attorney & Designation of Guardianship,” on Saturday, April 21, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the Meeting Room at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Linda Jordan, founder of Senior Resources Collaborative, will explain the concepts of power of attorney and legal guardianship. Learn about the differences between medical and statutory power of attorney and what they enable or allow a person to do or not do on behalf of an individual. She will also explain the role of a guardian and why it is sometimes beneficial to have two different guardians to oversee healthcare and finances.

Jordan is a licensed real estate consultant and a certified senior real-estate specialist.
