Learn About Retirement Savings & Social Security At Cinco Ranch Branch Library Program  

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present a special program on Retirement Savings and Social Security on Saturday, April 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

This 2-part program is designed to help individuals get a better understanding of how to financially prepare for retirement. The program is presented by Leslie Corley, a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments.

During the first part of the program, “Retirement: Making Your Money Last,” get tips on how to build a reasonable and sustainable strategy for managing income and expenses during retirement. Learn how to prepare in advance for circumstances such as inflation, healthcare expenses, and market volatility.

The second part of the program, “Social Security: Your Questions Answered,” will focus on social security. Learn about different options and how they can impact retirement savings. Get a better understanding of tax considerations.
