The Breast Cancer Charities of America Receives $15,000 Grant from The Newfield Foundation

The Woodlands, Texas (March 14, 2018):

The Breast Cancer Charities of America/iGoPink announced that the organization has been awarded a $15,000 grant from The Newfield Exploration Company Foundation for their 2018 regional program services.

“The Breast Cancer Charities is about providing hope and support to individuals affected by breast cancer,” stated Erica A. Johnson, Founder & Executive Director, iGoPink | The Breast Cancer Charities of America.  “This grant is extremely beneficial to the support and assistance we provide to regional patients and their families impacted by breast cancer. Our ongoing partnership with Newfield Exploration has allowed us to make a more substantial impact in the Greater Houston area.  We are so fortunate to have their support.”

The Newfield Foundation has given nearly $10 million to non-profit organizations since inception and is self-sustaining for future grant awards. Newfield’s headquarters is located in The Woodlands.

Newfield created ‘The Newfield Foundation’ in 2001 to support and enhance the local communities where their employees live and work. This is the fifth year that Newfield has granted The Breast Cancer Charities of America with funds to assist with and aid their multiple program services that serve individuals in the greater Houston area.

“The hope that The Breast Cancer Charities of America provides to breast cancer patients as they are going through treatment is truly inspiring,” noted Vanessa Palmer, Treasury Lead, Newfield Exploration. “We are honored to be able to provide The Breast Cancer Charities of America with this grant and support their service to the many women and families in the greater Houston area that are affected by breast cancer.”

The Breast Cancer Charities of America is a nonprofit organization headquartered in The Woodlands, TX serving women across the country who are battling, or have battled, breast cancer while empowering youth to take control of their health from a preventative measures standpoint.
