Relay for Life scheduled for April 28th

Relay For Life if Katy, now in its 20th year, will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 4pm- Midnight at Katy City Park in Katy. The theme this year is “Superheroes…saving the world one cure at a time.”

Relay For Life is the world’s largest fundraiser to end cancer, benefiting the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society’s mission is to “Save lives, celebrate lives & lead the fight for a world without cancer.” Relay For Life, is a family-oriented, community event where participants continuously walk a track, signifying that cancer never stops, as money is raised for cancer research and support, and also raising awareness about a disease that can surface at any time. Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and for one night, neither do we. The event draws in hundreds of people from Katy and the surrounding areas.
