KBR joins the Impact A Hero 5K in Bettering the Lives of Veterans and Their Families
March 13, 2018 – (Houston, Texas) – KBR Has committed a title sponsorship for the 14th annual Impact a Hero 5K event. The IAH5K presented by KBRsponsorship was announced Friday, March 1st by Laurel Goodroe, the Director of Marketing and Communications at Impact a Hero.
“KBR is no stranger to assisting our community,” says Goodroe. “Through their veteran job training program, their financial support of our initiatives, and the volunteer assistance with our organization, it brings us great joy to see them take a large part in our event this year.”
The Impact a Hero 5K + Kids K presented by KBR will take place on Saturday morning, May 5th, 2018. The race will take place at the Skeeters Constellation Field, in Sugar Land Texas. Registration is available online at www.impactahero5k.com.
The funds raised will support the mission and programs of Impact a Hero, who provides support to our wounded Heroes and their families. The race event is also one of their largest fundraising events of the year.
