new Catholic school and the first of its kind in Katy

Longstanding community presence in Nottingham Country, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, led by Pastor, Father Tom Lam, is overjoyed to introduce a new Catholic school and the first of its kind in Katy. Located at 20910 Highland Knolls Drive, Katy, Texas 77450, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School will begin with Pre-Kindergarten through Fourth grade in the 2018-2019 school year and add additional grades each year up to grade Eight.

Principal Dr. Nicholas Morgan is a strong supporter of traditional education while championing innovative instruction that has a proven record of success. The school places emphasis on the child’s academic and physical development, as well as his or her moral shaping, nurtured by the Christian faith. The four pillars which form the basis for the school—faith, knowledge, compassion, and character—are infused throughout the student’s educational experience at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School.

Far from being a typical private school setting, this school is distinguished by objectives that transcend a quality education. In Dr. Morgan’s words, “Catholic school students are taught to be dedicated to God, serve the community, and understand the values and traditions of the Catholic Church.” Dr. Morgan hopes to inculcate this cycle of service by breathing life back into the community in which the school is homed: “Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School graduates will be the same adults volunteering, leading, and ‘giving back’ to this community and the wider Catholic Church in the future.”

All are welcome to attend the school dedication ceremony on Saturday, August 4, at 10:00 am. The church will host a brief mass of thanksgiving, followed by a blessing of the school building. Afterwards guests will enjoy a reception with refreshments in the Family Center, and guided tours of the campus will be available.

If you wish to start your child’s journey to high-quality education in the Catholic tradition, admissions are currently ongoing and the application process is explained on the website at or you may reach Principal Dr. Nicholas Morgan by email,
