A healthy family-friendly celebration
WHAT: Get moving with Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus and the Houston Marathon Foundation!
Families with children of all abilities are invited to participate in what’s sure to be a fun- filled morning. For six years, the Family Fun Run has been educating and encouraging families in Houston and the surrounding areas to adopt active, healthy lifestyles together.
The Family Fun Run will include both 1K and 3K courses, as well as snacks and refreshments, interactive booths and inflatables and special guests and mascots. This is a friendly race, and all those who run, walk or even skip through, will receive an award. Participants of all abilities, including those needing walkers and wheelchairs, are welcome. So, grab your mom, dad, brother, sister, uncle, cousin, even grandma and get ready to get moving.
WHEN: Saturday, April 7, 2018 (rain or shine)
Start time 9 a.m.
Family Fun Zone until noon
Please note that strollers will be in the final wave of runners, likely 20-30 minutes after the start time.
