February 8, 2018 – Katy Independent School District celebrates National Signing Day events across its high schools. Traditionally on the first Wednesday of February, high school seniors can sign a binding national letter of intent for a collegiate sport. This is a day when the countless hours of practice, sweat and effort pay off for student athletes.
“There is nothing more rewarding than to see our students signing and committing their future to one of many esteemed universities across the country,” says Debbie Decker, Katy ISD Athletics Director.
“National Signing Day is a culmination of their hard work but it’s also the start of a lifelong legacy,” added Decker.
Several Katy ISD students committed to numerous prestigious colleges across the country and more are expected to take place throughout the year.
