Cinco Ranch Branch Library Presents Tips On Greyhound Adoptions

Retired racing greyhounds are unique in the dog world, not only for their personalities but because of the way they have been raised. If you are considering adopting a pet, and would like to find out more about greyhounds, come to Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library on Saturday, February 24, at 10:00 a,m,, when Greyhound Pets of America-Houston volunteer Jessica Ford will present an informative program on greyhounds.

Not every breed of animal is the right pet for every family. Before committing to the responsibility and joy of welcoming a pet to your home, learn more about the breed of animal, their needs, energy levels, and personalities to ensure that a pet will be a good fit for you, your family and your lifestyle.

Jessica Ford from Greyhound Pets of America-Houston will discuss the history of greyhounds. She will also talk about their care, their suitability as pets, and the adoption process. Learn more about this breed of dog, their needs, energy levels, and personalities.

Ford will bring one or two greyhounds with her for the presentation.

The program will take place in the Meeting Room at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
