Harris County Fire Marshal Awards Lifesaving Medals

Harris County – Today, the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office presented lifesaving medals to three Precinct 4 Constable Deputies for their heroic actions during a house fire on Jan. 20 in the 23200 block of Pebworth Place, Spring, TX.

“Precinct 4 Deputy David Santee, Deputy Juvencio Moreno, and Deputy Illiana Ramos arrived on scene at a house fire and rescued a young male child,” said Harris County Fire Marshal Mike Montgomery. “These deputies’ quick response and heroic actions saved a young child’s life. On behalf of the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, I am honored to present each deputy a lifesaving medal.”

The investigation into the origin and cause of this fire is ongoing.

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for fire prevention, education, control and investigation in the unincorporated areas of Harris County.
