Free “Sat” Practice Test At Cinco Ranch Branch Library

Representatives from Princeton Review will conduct a free SAT® practice-test session at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library, on Saturday, February 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Students will take a full-length practice SAT test to gain experience and become better prepared for the actual test. The scores on this practice test will only be shared with the student; they will not be sent to any educational institutions.

Those taking the practice test are encouraged to bring two #2 pencils. Examinees may bring any 4-function, scientific, or graphing calculator, as long as it is not on the prohibited list shown in the SAT Calculator Policy.

The SAT is used by U.S. colleges to determine admissions and to award scholarships and grants. The test is three hours and 30 minutes long, and consists of three sections – Reading, Writing and Language, and Math.

The session is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Events,” select “Cinco Ranch Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-395-1311, or by visiting the library. If unable to attend, please give a 24-hour cancellation notice so that others on the waiting list may attend.
