Katy Taste Fest is excited to announce our 2 nd annual food festival – serving more food, fun and philanthropy
Festival’s charity partners include Katy Cares, Krause Children’s Center, Armor of Hope Foundation and more
Katy (November 15, 2017) – Katy Taste Fest, the city’s first festival for foodies will again be held at Villagio Town Center March 24, 2018, 11am-2pm. The festival celebrates all things food from some of the best Katy restaurants. It is a foodies’ paradise with emphasis on food, family, and fun. The festival will focus on celebrating the diversity of the local restaurant scene with bites from 30 local restaurants, cooking demonstrations, beer/wine, a large kids zone, live entertainment, and a silent auction. Our inaugural event was a HUGE success with more than 800 attendees and raised more than $13,000.00 for our local non-profit partners. We aim to exceed that number in 2018!

This is an opportunity to discover your new go-to favorites while savoring comfort foods you’ve loved for years. We have something for everyone from adults to kids. “I love to experience new flavors and our food festival allows us to share new flavors while giving back to the community,” said Cyril Thomas, festival coordinator. Katy Taste Fest has partnered with several local nonprofits that focus on abused, neglected, and abandoned children including Katy Cares, Krause Children’s Center and Armor of Hope Foundation.
