WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) issued the following statement in response to learning that fellow Texan and good friend, Congressman Ted Poe will retire at the end of his current term:
“If you look up “Ted Poe” in the dictionary, it says, ‘Iconic Texan who loved America, Texas, his family and our Lord,’” Rep. Pete Olson said. “God has blessed all of us who call Ted ‘friend.’ If I leave Washington, D.C. as half the Congressman Ted Poe is, I will be a great one. And that’s just the way it is.”
