Inaugural Brooks Ballard Golf Tournament To Benefit Special Olympics Texas

HOUSTON (October 19, 2017) – Brooks Ballard and Engel & Völkers Houston are pleased to announce the Brooks Ballard Golf Tournament, which will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Wildcat Golf Club. Proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics Texas.

The tournament will welcome guests to breakfast, courtesy of Engel & Völkers and Special Olympics, and a silent auction of curated and unique items, followed by a shotgun start. The four-person scramble tournament will allow guests to meet several Special Olympics athletes on the course as they putt for each team.

Participants will compete for top team prizes and awards including trophies for the top three teams and those who make a “hole in one” will win either a Lincoln Continental or Ford F-150 from Joe Myers Ford Lincoln. Lunch and refreshments, courtesy of This is IT Café, will be provided at the awards ceremony. Guests will enjoy entertainment by Spanish guitarist, Guillermo Serpas.

Proceeds from sponsorships and registration will help support year-round training and competitions for more than 9,900 Special Olympics Texas athletes.
