Four Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for Houston Schools

Houston – Join International Leadership of Texas Charter School District Today, October 19th  and Friday, October 20th to celebrate grand openings at four of our campuses in the Houston area starting each day at 9:00AM. Details for each event can be found below. Reserved parking will be available for all VIP and media guests. Immediately following the ceremony, a VIP tour will be led by ILTexas Chief-of-Staff Tony Palagonia. Media is invited to stay to gather additional b-roll.

October 19th

  • ILTexas KatyK-8 VIP reception starts at 9:00AM at 24406 Franz Road Katy, TX 77493. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts promptly at 9:30AM at the front columns of ILTexas. This event will be attended by Texas State Representative Mike Schofield and District Director for Senator Lois Kolkhorst Paula Gibson.
  • ILTexas Westpark K-8 VIP reception will start at 1:00PM at 15300 Bellaire Boulevard Houston, TX 77083. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts promptly at 1:30AM at the front columns of ILTexas. This event will be attended bythe Chinese Community Center’s Fund Development Director Darryl De Mello.

October 20th

  • ILTexas Katy-Westpark High SchoolVIP reception starts at 9:00AM at 20055 Beechnut Richmond, TX 77407. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts promptly at 9:30AM at the front columns of ILTexas. This event will be attended by State Board of Education Member David Bradley, Linda Atkins from Texas State Representative John Zerwas’s office, World Affairs Council of Greater Houston Amanda Rico, Former Houston ISD principal Charles Cade, and Community Arts Development Director for Talento Bilingue de Houston Lupe Casares.
  • ILTexas Windmill Lakes K-8 VIP reception starts at 1:00PM at 9898 Windmill Lakes Boulevard Houston, TX 77075. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts promptly at 1:30AM at the front columns of ILTexas. This event will not be attended by any VIPS.
