Texian Market Days: A Living History Festival

RICHMOND – Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of more than 150 years of Texas history at the 34th annual Texian Market Days festival! Set for Saturday, October 21 at the George Ranch Historical Park, the annual folk festival is a community fall favorite benefiting the Fort Bend History Association. Guests can expect a day full of historical activities, including battle re-enactments, cattleworking demonstrations, cannonfire, vintage games, an artisan market, local food vendors and lots of hands-on activities.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The George Ranch Historical Park is located at 10215 FM 762 in Richmond. Festival admission at the gate is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $10 for children ages five to 15. Children four and under are free. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 21. Regular Park trams do not run on the day of the festival, so guests should prepare to walk the History Circle (just over one mile) and bring strollers, etc., for the little ones.
