“Spaghetti Sauce Ladies” Return to the Nutcracker Market for the 26th Year

Houston, Texas – October 1, 2017 – Founded in 1985, the Donne Di Domani organization is composed of Italian-American women whose purpose is to proudly promote awareness of our shared Italian heritage through our social, cultural, and most especially our charitable work.

Each year, using our authentic Italian recipe, and only the finest ingredients, our marinara sauce is freshly prepared and cooked to our exacting specifications, just like Mamma used to make so many years ago.  Our only fundraiser for our charitable endeavors is the annual selling of our famous sauce at the Nutcracker Market, November 9-12 at the NRG Center here in Houston, Texas.  And new this year, for the convenience of our loyal customers, we are able to accept credit cards, including Discover, American Express, Master Card, and Visa.

We are delighted to say that 100% of our profits are donated to a variety of local charities and educational institutions.  Since 1990, we have given away approximately $200,000 in scholarships to the University of Houston, the University of St. Thomas, and Rice University.  We also donate annually to our “angels,” the Discalced Carmelite Nuns, whose prayers and support play a major part in our success.

Since our founding, we have donated over $2,000,000 to charities solely with proceeds from our marinara sauce.  In choosing our charities, our focus is always on:  women, teenagers and children’s health and welfare, cancer research and other medial issues, care for the destitute, homeless, handicapped, our veterans and their families’ needs.  Recent recipients include:  The Inner City Catholic Schools, Angela House, The Diaper Foundation, The Folded Flag Foundation, Kids Unlimited, Autism Rescue Angel, Patriot Paws, The Dominican Sisters, and Lonestar Legacy to name a few.
