Mercy Chefs is serving more than 13,000 chef-prepared meals, daily

Mercy Chefs, a Virginia based non-profit, disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization has deployed their team of professional chefs to feed victims and first responders in Rockport and Houston, Texas.

“As I drive between our two deployment sites in Rockport and Friendswood, Texas (outside Houston), the devastation continues to amaze me. I see mile after mile of downed power lines, neighborhood after neighborhood of flooded homes, and blank stare after blank stare from hurting people still in shock from the horrific effects of Hurricane Harvey”, Chef Gary LeBlanc.

Mercy Chefs is serving more than 13,000 chef-prepared meals, daily, to first responders and stranded residents throughout the cities of Rockport and Friendswood, TX (Houston area).

In addition, active preparations are being made to dispatch our teams for concurrent deployments should Hurricane Irma make U.S. landfall.
