43rd annual Texas Renaissance Festival Job Faire to add 500+ jobs to local economy

WHAT:             The Texas Renaissance Festival will hold its annual two-day Job Faire on the festival grounds in Todd Mission, Texas, on Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Globe Stage. Hundreds of employees will be hired during this two-day event and will add to the magic of the festival, which kicks off September 30 through November 26, 2017.

More than 4,000 jobs make up the Texas Renaissance Festival. This year, organizers are seeking to fill nearly 500 positions in the following areas: hawkers, sales of food and merchandise, food prep, games and rides and more. Applicants should be prepared to work 9 consecutive weekends, dress in costume and learn the King’s English.

WHO:              The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest, most acclaimed Renaissance theme park. Last year, over 600,000 guests passed through the Festival’s gates, entering the magical New Market Village, an authentic 16th century village located 50 miles northwest of Houston, Texas.

PARKING:          FREE PARKING– Upon arrival to the festival grounds, follow signs to the designated parking area, and then to the Globe Stage, which is located to the right of the main entrance.
