On August 16, 2017, Katy Area Retired Educators (KARE) held its annual Hooky Day to kick off the new school year. Over 100 retired teachers were in attendance to kick off the new school year and to welcome newly retired teachers. KARE’s theme this year is “Teamwork is Key”. KARE’s next meeting will be held on September 13, 2017. KARE meetings are held at the Merrell Center, West Entrance at 11:30 AM.
