Jill Gandy shares to readers ‘Our British Invasion’
Author invites readers to travel along with her to England, Scotland, Ireland
COPPELL, Texas – Author Jill Gandy and her husband Michael had an amazing time living and travelling in England and treasured the memories they gained during their stay in Preston, Lancashire. The book, “Our British Invasion” (published by Xlibris), is a collection of her journals from all the places that she loved. Aside from Preston, she wants others to experience the beauty of the “less traveled” areas of England, Scotland and Ireland.
For Gandy, England is just as majestic as seen in the movie, “Pride and Prejudice,” and the Irish are a fun and friendly culture. Throughout her book, she invites the readers to travel along with her during their British Invasion, know where the locals hang out, and what fun things to do. Adventure is just a page away.

About the Author
Jill Hughes Gandy was raised by her adoptive parents, Bob and Barbara Hughes, in the small town of Athens, along with her older sister, Holli. At the young age of 13, her family moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she graduated from Norman High School in 1993 and the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology in 1999. She married Michael Douglas Gandy in 1998, and they have two children, Emma and Joshua. They currently live in Coppell, Texas. She is licensed and certified by American Medical Technologists as a Medical Technologist. In January of 2016, her and her sister, Holli, created the company, Olive-U-Clean, in which they hand-make all natural olive oil soaps, salt scrubs and bath bombs.
