“Whither Metro” What Steps is Metro Likely to Take Now?

The HPRA lunch speaker this Friday is David Crossley, founder and spokesperson for Houston Tomorrow. Mr. Crossley will lay out his vision for transit in Houston as he looks at a financially constrained Metro.

How will Mayor Turner’s promise of a paradigm shift in transportation translate into reality? What development and land use codes will need to change to allow for the compact neighborhoods Mr. Crossley advocates to achieve a higher quality of life?
