KATY Aquatics is proud to announce the purchase of five acres of land that will become the future home for a multipurpose Aquatic Center. The actual site is located within close proximity to Grand Parkway at an optimal position near the newest high school in Katy ISD – Patricia E. Paetow High School.
Purchasing land is just the first phase of the Facility Expansion Plan. Building the facility will occur in multiple stages over time. The Aquatic Center is to include two pools, locker rooms, a dryland training facility complete with running track, office space and parking. The first pool built will be an outdoor 50 meter training and competition pool. The second pool will be an indoor teaching/programming pool. Offices and the dryland facility will complete the complex.
KATY Aquatics has a goal to design a comprehensive Aquatic Center that will meet the health and wellness needs for the Katy community and surrounding area in West Houston. The program structure is to include competitive age group swimming, learn-to-swim, fitness and rehabilitation. The objective of KATY Aquatics is to continue teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming, encourage athletic training among swimmers and educate the public on the importance of water safety. KATY Aquatics is sincerely looking forward to future growth and developing additional swim programs for all to utilize.

Professional coaches are on staff and focus on innovative training to support the development of each individual swimmer.
