Home décor superstore to open 3 new locations in Houston area
PLANO, Texas (July 19, 2017) – At Home Group Inc. (NYSE: HOME) today announced its continued expansion into Texas with the grand openings of three locations in the greater Houston area, including a newly redeveloped store in Katy, Texas, that opened today at 19420 Interstate 10.
The Katy location is one of seven At Home stores in the greater Houston area and one of 26 in Texas. Construction is underway on stores in Pearland and Richmond, Texas, that are slated to open in the fall.

The Katy At Home store is one of more than 25 new store openings across the U.S. this year for the growing home décor chain, which went public in August 2016. One of the fastest-growing retailers in America, At Home has achieved a 20 percent top-line compound annual growth rate over the past four fiscal years.
The 135,000-square-foot Katy store offers over 50,000 home décor items from furniture, mirrors, rugs, art and housewares to tabletop, patio and seasonal items, including more than 100 different artificial Christmas tree varieties.
“The site of our new Katy store is rich in history as one of the original locations for At Home’s precursor Garden Ridge, and it is the first completely rebuilt At Home store,” said At Home Store Director Robert Cortino. “We are deeply invested in the Katy community because of our roots, and we look forward to welcoming back longtime and new At Home customers to explore the new store.”
Opening events include a ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. Friday, July 28, with the Katy-area Chamber of Commerce, followed by a grand opening celebration Saturday, July 29, beginning at 9 a.m., with mystery gift card giveaways valued at $20-$200 for the first 50 people in line.
Shoppers will find style ideas throughout the store, including room vignettes that are continually updated to showcase the latest trends and seasonal items. More than 400 new products are brought in each week to provide fresh inspiration.
