Cornyn Calls on Democrats to Help Reform Health Care

WASHINGTON – Today at a press conference, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) discussed the open amendment process where Senators on both sides of the aisle can offer amendments on the health care legislation following today’s vote. “We were all glad to see our old friend John McCain… I thought he delivered a very important message and at a very timely basis because this legislation is open for amendment, not just by Republicans but by Democrats as well.”
