Texas Miss Amazing Art Show

Texas Miss Amazing Art Show- A program that celebrates the abilities of girls and women with disabilities The mission of Miss Amazing (TX) is to celebrate the abilities of girls and women with disabilities and provide opportunities for them to build self-confidence in a supportive environment. Texas Miss Amazing (TMA) is a division of Miss Amazing Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in Nebraska in 2007. Miss Amazing Inc. expanded nationwide in 2010 and the organization is now located in over 35 states. Four representatives from TMA will be traveling to Chicago to participate at the 2017 National Miss Amazing event; boasting over 110 participants from across the country.

For the Miss Amazing event, participants were given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in the following categories; an interview with judges, introductions to the audience, and evening gown presentation. An optional talent event allowed for participants to showcase their individual talents. In the spirit of Miss Amazing, all participants are awarded a trophy and crown as National Princesses. At the National level, six participants in various age divisions were selected as National Representatives of Miss Amazing. This was the first time in history Texas brought home a National title. Our Texas Jr. Teen Queen competed at Nationals and won, with her platform being Spina Bifida Awareness.
