Kathleen Beining announces publication of sixth book in Mrs. Bumbleberry series

‘Mrs. B, Substitute Grandma’ follows Mrs. Bumbleberry and Katy on an outing

In “Mrs. B, Substitute Grandma” (published by WestBow Press), the sixth book of author Kathleen Beining’s Mrs. Bumbleberry series, Mrs. Bumbleberry, Katy and her friend Andi go on an outing.

Katy and Andi are going on a field trip to Appleton Farms. Field trips are fun, especially when a wagon ride is included. To ride the wagon, Katy and Andi need an adult, but Andi’s grandmother is sick, so Mrs. Bumbleberry goes along. On the field trip the children pick apples and run through the corn maze. They also learn the value of working together and how to treat others.

“There’s a lot of negative influence in today’s society,” Beining says. “This series of stories promotes dealing with problems in a positive manner and offers an opportunity to discuss this with young readers.
