New personal growth book aims to motivate people toward a life of ‘kingdom hospitality’

Caleb Camp announces publication of debut book, ‘The Hospitality of God’

Inspired by an experience with “kingdom hospitality” where he met a group of Christians who welcomed him without judgment led Camp to write his debut book, “The Hospitality of God: Discovering and Living Kingdom Hospitality” (published by WestBow Press). The book discusses encouraging people toward a life of “kingdom hospitality.”

The book is about kingdom hospitality, something that Camp argues is a biblical concept so simple but is “almost completely overshadowed in Christian culture today.” Kingdom hospitality is a way of engaging people by living out “the same irresistible welcome that the Father has continually lavished on us.” Camp says “The Hospitality of God” sheds light on Bible passages by showing how the idea of kingdom hospitality is shown throughout the Old and New Testaments and is “the best way to reach today’s lost and searching world.”

“Culture wars have gripped our society and there is a divide between Christians and non-Christians, especially in the west,” Camp says. “This book offers a prescription to bridge that divide through biblical exposition.”
