Katy, Texas) When noted writer/director Kevin James O’Neil was looking to have his screenplay 50 Hours turned into a novel, Baltimore based Best Selling Christian Author Loree Lough got the call. As the final touches were being put on the manuscript she went looking for endorsements to help boost the book’s sales. One of those she turned to was her favorite Katy minister Rev. Robert A. Crutchfield. Crutchfield read a draft of the then unpublished book and agreed to write a public endorsement of it. In addition to appearing in the book itself, Crutchfield’s endorsement may also be used in various promotional materials for the book, which released June 30th and is currently on sale.
Crutchfield’s endorsement as quoted in the pages of 50 Hours reads,

Crutchfield a bi-vocational minister is founder and editor of FaithInspires.Org, he also preaches weekly at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy. He previously served as chaplain of the Katy Fire Department. Crutchfield and Lough first worked together in 2010 when she was writing From Ashes to Honor. She included his The First Responders Prayer not only in that book, but all three of her First Responder Series novels. He has had input into several of her other novels, and a character in two of them are based on him. 50 Hours is Lough’s 116th published novel. She has worked with some of the biggest publishing houses in the industry, and is a sought after speaker at writer’s conferences around the country.50 Hours is the first project where Lough has worked with O’Neil.
Crutchfield who is an internationally known writer in his own right recently began his own channel on YouTube. Some of his videos there have already received several thousand views, further spreading his ministry around the world.
