Students who would like to have more information on area colleges are invited to attend a special “College Fair – PLUS!” at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library on Friday, June 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
Representatives from colleges and universities will be on hand to share information about their programs with current high school students and their parents or guardians. Students will have the opportunity to learn about educational opportunities available at the colleges, as well as admission requirements, financial aid, student housing, and more.
Schools from Texas that will be represented include Lamar University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, Texas Lutheran University, Texas State University, Texas Women’s University, University of Texas at Dallas, SMU, and Trinity University.
Colleges from outside of Texas that will be represented include Louisiana State University, Mississippi State University, University of Alabama, University of Mississippi, University of Missouri, and University of Tampa.
Students may also attend presentations in the Multipurpose Room:
- “Finding Your College Fit” – 1:00-1:40 p.m.
- “Admissions 101: How to Apply” – 1:40-2:20 p.m.
- “Financing Your Education” – 2:20-3:00 p.m.
