At the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, Sen. Cruz said: “I was delighted to visit with the Irving chamber this morning,” Sen. Cruz said. “These local leaders and job creators are fighting every day to create good-paying jobs and provide expanded opportunities for their communities. The number-one priority of Texans is jobs and economic growth, which is why I’ve fought every day in the Senate to reduce regulations and simplify the tax code, which makes it easier for businesses to thrive and raise wages.”

At the 100,000 Opportunities Initiative job fair in Dallas, Sen. Cruz said: “It was wonderful to visit with so many young people and employers,” Sen. Cruz said, “In Texas, we have some of the brightest minds, and hardest working men and women on the face of the planet. I am always eager to hear firsthand concerns and ideas on what can be done in Washington to make it easier to find good-paying jobs and expand opportunities for Texans throughout the state.”
