Advanced Rupture Disk Technology (ARDT) was started in March 1994, in Houston and moved its offices to the Seven Meadows area in Katy in 2005. In July 2003, ARDT purchased the property at 1010 Avenue A from the original owner, Dona Tucker Barker.
Originally build in 1949 as a family home, ARDT purchased it as a commercial property and updated the interior, keeping the charm of the home and grounds in historic downtown Katy.
Advanced Rupture Disk Technology is owned by Kathy Denning, Shannon Birchum and David Denning II. It is a manufacturer’s representative firm, selling pressure relief devices to the petrochemical and drilling industries. The owners and employees enjoy their “home” office space and are proud to be in the heart of Katy.
