“Verse by Verse” By Pete Zenz

Verse by Verse’ combines historical fiction, poetry to introduce the Torah

Pete Zenz announces publication of new book

MIDDLETON, Wis. – Intended to be entertaining and enlightening, “Verse by Verse: Vol. 1: The Torah” (published by WestBow Press) by Pete Zenz is an introduction to the Torah for those who have never read it, or a different perspective for those who have read it before.

A combination of historical fiction and poetry, the book presents the first five books of the Bible in a nontraditional way. “Verse By Verse” highlights the popular stories and touches on some more obscure parts. The two characters featured frequently are Abraham and Moses, as their activities and their family members are prominent in the stories of the Torah.

Zenz hopes that his book will help readers gain “a new appreciation for poetry and perhaps a more enlightened view of the Bible.”
