Olson Thanks Katy Mayor Hughes For His Service

Washington, DC – Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) today presented outgoing Katy Mayor Fabol Hughes with a Navy flag in honor of his retirement. Today is Mayor Hughes’ last day in office. Olson presented him with a Navy flag as a gesture of thanks for his service to the people of Katy, TX.

“From one Navy man to another, I want to thank Mayor Hughes for his many years of public service,” Rep. Pete Olson said. “America benefited from his service in the United States Navy and Katy, Texas has benefited from his public service both on the City Council and as Mayor. Communities like Katy are stronger thanks to strong leaders like Mayor Hughes. It’s been a pleasure to work with him on behalf of the great folks in Katy. Thank you again for your service and best of luck in the future.”

Mayor Hughes has been Mayor of Katy since 2013 and served on the city council prior to that (2007-2013).
