Northwest Assistance Ministries Received 2400 Pounds of Brand New Merchandise from Burlington Stores

(Houston, May 10, 2017). Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) received 2,400 pounds of brand new merchandise from Burlington Stores through its partner, K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers.

The donation of six pallets of new mixed merchandise from Burlington Stores included clothes for men, women and children, as well as home décor, toys and other items. This generous donation was possible thanks to a partnership between Burlington Stores and K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers—a nonprofit organization that helps underserved communities by donating apparel and other goods.

“Burlington is proud to support our store communities and are happy to donate new merchandise through our national partnership with K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, to Northwest Assistance Ministries so that those they serve receive the merchandise they need,” said a spokesperson representing both partners.

NAM received the donation during the grand-opening of a of a new Burling Store located at 21440 Kuykendahl Road in Spring, Texas. The items donated to NAM are valued at several thousand dollars.

“We are so thankful to Burlington Stores and K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers for this incredible donation,” explained Debbie Peterson, Director of the Assistance Program at NAM. “Donations like this represent once again the power of Neighbors Helping Neighbors and what NAM is all about.”

Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education and domestic violence awareness and intervention. In the last fiscal year, NAM touched the lives of more than 114,000 people through its many programs and services.
