Kelsey Wylie
(May 4, 2017 Katy, TX…) Kelsey Wylie, a sophomore at Faith West Academy, took third place in State at the TAPPS 5A Golf Tournament held at Stone Tree Golf Club. Wylie shot a 78 on the first day of competition and a 74 on the second day for a total of 152. The two day tourney hosted 106 players from across the state of Texas.
Wylie was undefeated in TAPPS 5A District play with a current average of 74. Her low round of the season was 68. She will spend the summer playing tournaments on the East coast through the American Junior Golf Association.
Faith West Academy is an inter-denominational private Christian school offering preschool through 12th grade.
