COLLEGE STATION, April 24, 2017 – On Saturday morning, April 29, Texas A&M University’s Corps of Cadets will conduct the 41st Annual March to the Brazos in support of the March of Dimes’ efforts to aid children and families in the Brazos Valley.

Over 2,300 cadets will march 18 miles from their dorms in the Quad, through Main campus and West campus, to Texas A&M’s Animal Science Teaching, Research & Extension Complex near the east bank of the Brazos River.  Cadets will then participate in various events, have lunch and return to campus.

March to the Brazos is the largest and most successful student-led fundraiser for the March of Dimes in the United States, raising over $3 million between 1977 and 2016. In the 2015-2016 year, the Cadets raised $132,000.

Anyone interested in supporting the Cadet’s March of Dimes’ efforts can donate by going to Corps of Cadets website at corps.tamu.edu/brazos.
